After this stressful, yet fantastic, first week of back to school with my students, I decided that it was time to slow it down. All week I felt rushed and stressed so I knew I needed some down time. I slept until 8, took a nap, and went driving around town with my husband. I didn’t feel any anxiety and it was wonderful! This school year I want to make sure that I don’t miss out on relaxing and taking time for me. 🙂
I’ve very much felt the same as you lately but it’s been forced on my part. I’m far too often in too much of a rush to get to the next event. Life is already moving fast enough, I need to slow down!

Sometimes it is really hard to slow down but sometimes we just have to make it happen

That’s quite true. I almost went insane (As you read in my blog) this weekend when I didnt have anything to do…Sometimes I just need to take that as God saying, Chill bro (Because that’s totally how God talks).
Thanks for the reminder 🙂

Yes, and I took a lesson from the Irish during my recent vacation. They are I no hurry to do anything and it was really refreshing once I slowed down long enough to appreciate it. I hope to hold onto that for at least a little while!
