Oh Monday

Monday morning’s sting

Wakes me from my deep slumber

I don’t wanna wake up! 

Shifty

My little doggie

Is looking very shifty

While I eat my food

  

A Promise in times of Pain

Hold on tight

to the words I speak to you now

Do not give up hope

It will not win!

The pain will not last

It seems to hold on so tight
